About Linda
I have been making dolls since I can remember. Any bit of paper or fabric would fuel my imagination. When my children were young, I would create dolls from the characters in their favorite books.
My Inspiration
I am a self taught artist. I think doll makers gather inspiration from experiences they have accumulated throughout their lives. Every book I have read, every pattern I have sewn, every class I have taken, every picture I have drawn, is in each doll I make. They are the end result of who I am as an artist.
My Materials
Soft sculpture in fabric was my first love in doll making. Now polymer clay is the latest stage in my creative life.
